Cartesian product

The cartesian product 𝐴 ×𝐵 is the set of all ordered pairs (𝑎,𝑏) where 𝑎 ∈𝐴 and 𝐵 ∈𝐵. set This is the categorical product in Category of sets — by analogy, the categorical product is soemtimes also given this name.

In a material set theory with classes like NBG, one defines the cartesian product of classes similarly.
