Thermodynamic potential

Enthalpy

Enthalpy 𝐻(𝑆,𝑝,⃗𝐍) is the Thermodynamic potential minimized by a system held at constant pressure. It may be thought of as measuring the heat obtainable from a closed thermodynamic system in an isobaric process.

𝐻=𝐸+𝑝𝑉
