Examples of groups

Multiplicative group of integers modulo 𝑛

For any positive integer 𝑛 βˆˆβ„•, the multiplicative group of integers modulo 𝑛 ℀×𝑛 consists of all positive integers coprime with 𝑛, group i.e.

℀×𝑛={π‘₯βˆˆβ„€π‘›:gcd(π‘₯,𝑛)=1}

which is the Group of units of the Ring of integers modulo 𝑛.
