Poisson algebra

A Poisson algebra (𝐴, β‹…,[ β‹…, β‹…]) is an K-monoid (𝐴, β‹…) and Lie algebra (𝐴,[ β‹…, β‹…]) such that the Lie bracket (called the Poisson bracket) is a derivation, falg i.e.

[π‘₯,𝑦𝑧]=[π‘₯,𝑦]𝑧+𝑦[π‘₯,𝑧]

whence follows

[π‘₯𝑦,𝑧]=[π‘₯,𝑧]𝑦+π‘₯[𝑦,𝑧]
